Job Summary: The Credit Administrator will supervise a team of credit officers in line with the credit policies, and procedures and set targets as expected from the institution.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of credit officers in managing the daily administration of loan documentation in full compliance with internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
- Review loan documents and liaise with internal and external parties to ensure proper and efficient delivery of credit administration duties.
- Conduct a periodical review of loan administration policy and procedures to streamline workflow.
- Generate, review and maintain loan disbursement reports for presentation to credit committees, and provide monthly reports on the same, in accordance with the credit policy and guidelines.
- Ensure all lending Documentation is complete as per the Company Policy and Procedures with respect to the amount of finance, terms, and conditions, borrower’s borrowing mandate, authorized signatory, etc.
- Responsible for collateral valuation, collateral monitoring, and collateral reconciliation with original documents.
- Spearhead the repayment process of loans and maintain a good Portfolio necessary for company growth.
- Ensuring post disbursement compliance with approved terms and conditions in line with the credit policy.
- Generate and review daily system credit monitoring and management reports and identify non performing accounts with irregularities and proactively follow up to ensure corrective action is taken in line with credit policy.
- Monitor all irregularities, past dues, documentation deficiencies, etc., and report to Senior Management.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The application should hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Microfinance, or any related field.
- A minimum of three to five years of experience in Credit, Marketing or Financial analysis experience
- Prior experience in a Credit supervisory role is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills
- Must possess excellent multi-tasking skills and be able to function under pressure.
- Ability to handle fast-paced environments with minimum supervision and meet project deadlines.
- Ability to use a smartphone/computer, and experience in Google Applications is an advantage
- Knowledge of asset/motorcycle financing is a plus
