Job Summary:    Pesapal is seeking to recruit a dynamic and results-driven account manager with a passion for building strong client relationships to spearhead the management of key accounts in Uganda. The position holder will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, responsible for understanding their needs and challenges. Subsequently, they will collaborate seamlessly with internal cross-functional teams to effectively communicate client expectations and provide tailored solutions, with the goal of driving organic account growth.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze customer’s usage of our products and services to ensure they remain active and growing.
  • Upsell and cross-sell to increase customer’s lifetime value.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competition to identify growth opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions on CRM and any other sales management system.
  • Develop and facilitate Quarterly Business Reviews with customers.
  • Fostering relationships between customers and the support team, making it easier for users to solve end-customer issues.
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners address customer inquiries, concerns, and escalations in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare regular reports on client relationship activities, revenue and client feedback.




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor of Commerce/Arts degree in Sales, Marketing or Customer Relations
  • Three years of proven working experience as an account manager in the fintech or banking sector
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
  • Excellent relationship management skills and the ability to leverage these skills to develop new business Opportunities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
  • Ability to manage multiple clients concurrently, while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional client experiences.
