Job Title:    Software Tracking Technician (4 Fresher Job Opportunities)

Reports to: Risk, Recovery & Tracking Coordinator

Job Summary:   The Software Tracking Technician will install, monitor and provide tracking installation services for motorcycles in line with company guidelines.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create sub-accounts and update login details in the system.
  • Save bikes to different branches using details shared on the in-house spreadsheet.
  • Renaming the device with the specific number plate and sim card number.
  • Monitor and provide support to the installation team on the user end by executing commands to see if they are effective or resetting devices with issues.
  • Monitor device statuses and communicate to different personnel in case they need attention.
  • Updating the in-house spreadsheet.
  • Providing support to different staff members with the user end platform.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by your supervisor





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant should hold an Information Technology (IT) related diploma and/or Automotive Mechanics
  • At least two years of working experience or training in apprenticeship in tracking system installation, management and security
  • Ability to work together in a team, under minimum supervision & under tight deadlines
  • Good communication skills (oral and written)
  • Able to work accurately and pay attention to detail.
  • May be required to work outside official work hours and be on call at all times
  • Knowledge and skills in use of computerized diagnostic equipment
  • Skills in tracking system installation, management and security
