Job Summary: Our client, an FMCG distributor household goods is seeking to hire a Key Accounts Manager (RM). The Key Accounts Manager will be responsible for nurturing and expanding relationships with high-profile supermarket clients. This role involves strategic planning, effective communication, and ensuring client satisfaction to drive business growth and maintain a strong market presence.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key supermarket clients.
  • Create and implement strategic account plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and pursue new business avenues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless product delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Resolve any issues or concerns raised by clients promptly and effectively.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and regulations affecting consumer goods distribution.
  • Conduct regular account reviews to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Represent the company at industry events and maintain a positive brand image.

 




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in key account management within the consumer goods or distribution industry.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
  • Decisive, agile and result-driven
  • Self-starter and fast learner who can adapt to an ever-changing environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Knowledge of the supermarket retail landscape and trends.
  • Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel.
