Job Summary: The Strategic Planning Analyst will be responsible for Identifying, researching and analysing key elements that affect the profitability, growth and productivity in the Bank. The job holder shall support the implementation and monitoring of the long-term goals and strategic objectives for the Bank to ensure sustainable growth.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and update the strategic roadmap highlighting the execution status using the assigned strategic dashboards/tracking mechanisms.
- Conduct market research and present research findings to guide Executive decision Making.
- Work with the Senior Strategic Planning Analyst to define strategic planning processes, priorities, capabilities, measures of success and timing of various inputs/outputs.
- Conduct due diligence on the Bank’s expansion, comprehensive investigation, and assessment to support informed and strategic decision-making.
- Participate in the preparation of the Bank for sustainability certification (The Sustainability Standards & Certification Initiative, SSCI).
- Work with the Senior Strategic Planning Analyst to develop financial models to evaluate the Bank’s business opportunities and track benefits on its specific investments.
- Participate in comprehensive evaluation of product proposals through meticulous analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to develop and execute a holistic strategic planning process that contributes to informed decision-making.
- Participate in the development of the Bank’s Annual Budget and track the realization of the expected benefits from the Investment(s).
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Information, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate the insights from findings to Management and relevant stakeholders.
- Intellectually curious with strong creative and imaginative prowess to generate ideas to solve business problems.
- Strong critical thinking abilities to draw sound conclusions from information and various data sources.
- Problem Solving and prioritization skills.
- Able to analyse data objectively, applying logic though offering solutions while taking a long-term perspective.
- Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills
- Able to work with cross-functional teams and have the maturity to interact directly with senior Executives across departments.
