Job Summary:   The Operations Officer Treasury Back Office will ensure that cash and Treasury back office transactions, Treasury deals, Forex exchange rates and customer deal settlements are posted on time while following laid down controls, policies and procedures of the bank in addition to Bank of Uganda guidelines at all times.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely posting of cash and treasury transactions in the core banking system with no delays on a daily basis.
  • Ensure timely deal confirmations, submissions of swift copies and settlements done with partners on a daily basis
  • Change forex exchange rates (FX) in the core banking system as advised by the risk department on a daily basis
  • Monitor Fixed deposits, Bonds and standing order functionality and expiry dates in both the core banking system and advise customers on the way forward
  • Support branches with system rights to perform their duties.
  • Carry out any other duties assigned by your supervisors.




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
  • At least two years of experience in a banking sector at a supervision level
  • Good communication skills.
  • Task and Result oriented
  • Team prayer.
