It is now the country’s leading organization working to protect and improve the wellbeing and health of vulnerable communities in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Working with international and local partner teams, CUAMM provides medical aid and expertise in 8 African countries: Angola, Central African Republic, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda.
About Internship Program:
Doctors with Africa CUAMM Uganda is excited to announce the launch of a Youth Internship Program aimed at providing valuable training and experience in health, nutrition, community engagement, and data management. We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated young Individuals who have graduated within the past 2 years to fill the following Internship positions across 9 districts of Karamoja. CUAMM is committed to promoting diversity and equal opportunity. All qualified candidates, hailing from the 9 districts of Karamoja are encouraged to apply. This is not a salaried position but monthly stipend will be provided to all successful applicants for the 6 months duration of the Internship.
Job Summary: The Interns will play a critical role in providing health services particularly in maternal and child health initiatives to the community.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant should have graduated in the last 2 years from a recognized Institution in the relevant field.
- Passionate about making a positive impact on health and community well-being.
- Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
