Job Summary: The National Account Manager will be tasked with business development function identifying new markets and business opportunities and securing new business.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Business Development – maintain and develop relationships with existing customers gaining clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements
- New Business Development
- Liaise with LIT-Uganda and existing and potential markets, negotiating terms of agreement and closing sales
- Represent LIT-Uganda at trade exhibitions, events etc.
- Collaborate with internal teams around specifications, cost calculations, quotations
- Keep abreast of the industry and market trends
- Support Group/Regional Account Manager with acquisition strategies
- Ensure all contracted revenue streams from won opportunities are correctly invoiced and accounted for
- Relationship Management – maintain allocated product mix to reflect the aims of the business aligned to specified objectives. Build beneficial customer relationships. Document and maintain relevant proposals, contracts etc. on Sales Force for allocated portfolio
- Sales Operations – Coordinates with the Technical Team for Solutions Management. Assess customer satisfaction capturing lessons learned and sharing these with the appropriate teams to drive improvement
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a related Bachelor’s Degree
- Three years of experience as a sales professional within the ICT Sector and good product knowledge.
- CRM experience (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics etc.)
