About US:

Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS) is a semi-autonomous agency of Government responsible for maintenance, coordination, supervising and monitoring of the National Statistical System to ensure the collection, analysis and dissemination of standardised statistical information. The Bureau is also mandated as the principal official statistics

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Participate in the Collection and processing of data.
• participate in report writing.
• Participate in the Department meetings.
• Manage records in the section.
• Write weekly reports in the assigned department.
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The applicant should be a second or third year Student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in the fields of Economics and Statistics, Statistics, Quantitative Economics, Data science, Human Resource, Procurement and logistics Management, Law/ PGD Bar course, BCOM, BBA (Accounting and Finance), Population Studies, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, and Software Engineering.
