BRAC Uganda Bank Ltd promotes financial inclusion by extending financial services to unserved and underserved populations especially women and youth as well as people living in poverty in rural areas. The Bank is operationally and financially self-sustaining with over 231,000 active customers and a loan book in excess of Ushs.175 billion.
Job Summary: The Human Resource Business Partner will drive the achievement of business and overall bank’s Objectives through the implementation of Human resources strategy, policies and practices. In partnership with the Heads of Departments, Divisional Manages and line supervisors, HRBP provides consultancy services to enable delivery of best practices and HR focused solutions to BRAC Uganda Bank Ltd. This position serves as a liaison between the business lines and HK to ensure fulfillment of human resources needs e.g. recruitment, performance management, compensation, career development, Talent Management, Grievance Handling etc.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Works and social administration, social science, Organisational psychology and any related held
- Four years of experience in a HR generalist, management or Business Partners role, Employee Relations, change management and team development experience.
- Ability to diagnose problems and identity and drive appropriate solutions.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to translate business plans and goals into human resources capabilities needed to achieve results.
- Excellent Communication skills.
- Influencing and negotiation skills.
- Ability to function in a fast paced and innovative Environment
