Job Summary: The HR Business Partner is part of the EMT and the wider HR Leadership pool and plays a key role in the functional leadership agenda. Alignment and delivery of key objectives calls for excellent influencing skills and owning the whole since on the day today there are two direct reports into the role.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- To drive the business HR strategy on talent management and organization effectiveness in order to deliver the mission, goals and business growth.
- Provide HR support to the various business functions allocated through the development and implementation of globally aligned and effective strategies in order to deliver the mission, goals and business growth.
- Job Responsibility
- Drive both people and business strategy while supporting their performance and growth.
- Support line managers to implement effective performance management processes, ensure that mid-year and annual appraisals are carried out in a timely manner and follow up actions are implemented as planned.
- Coordinate the talent and succession management process to ensure availability of talent to meet current and future business needs.
- Work closely with senior and line managers, providing them with expert guidance, coaching and support on the full range of HR activities (including policies and procedures, terms and conditions of employment, absence management, restructuring of services, performance management, etc.), in order to ensure a consistent and fair approach to people.
- Engage, enable and challenge line managers to manager their people effectively.
- Develop and support line managers to develop and implement activities to enhance employee engagement and create a positive work environment and build an engaged workforce.
- Implement organizational change and development within the business and control of HR budget in area of responsibility.
- Ensure appropriate training and development programmes are available to meet the needs of the business and employees.
- Recommend and implement HR policies & HR plan – recruitment and selection, disciplinary action, separation, and staff development, training and retention.
- Develop and implement solutions to meet business needs.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree
- Relevant HR qualifications / certifications
- At least six to eight years of HR generalist experience.
- Exposure across different HR functions.
- Experience dealing with senior and sometimes challenging individuals.
- Experience driving and successfully implementing change.
- Confident in directing HR and advising managers on all aspects of people management and development.
