Job Summary: The Specified Person – Bancassurance will deliver business performance through effective selling and excellent execution of operational services to the customers under the Bancassurance portfolio business in compliance to the Bancassurance policy and procedures.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Grow the bancassurance business line through selling insurance products to new and existing clients.
- Grow the Hospital cash for savers revenue and other micro insurance products.
- Ensure timely renewal of expired insurance policies.
- Monitor to ensure timely action on failed standing orders and routinely contact clients to honor their periodical premium remittances.
- Follow up on pending claims documents from branches and ensure timely submission of claim documents.
- Resolve all customer complaints in relation to the applicable products.
- Create awareness of the bancassurance offering within the bank.
- Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Accounting, Business Administration, Social Sciences or any other related business discipline gained from a recognized university.
- A Certificate of Insurance (CIU) from the ITC
- Two years of working experience gained in an insurance company.
- Good report writing skills
- Good sales and marketing skills.
- Good oral and written communication
- Commercial banking experience is an added advantage.
- Good interpersonal & teamwork skills.
- Ability to deliver under minimum supervision.
- Ability to multi- task.
- Willing to work anywhere in Uganda.
- A person of proven integrity.
