Kiira Motors Corporation or KMC is a State Enterprise in Uganda established to champion the Development of the Domestic Automotive Value Chain for job and wealth creation.

 

Job Summary:   The Sales Executive is responsible for facilitating every aspect of the sales process for KMC products and services including maintaining a strong customer database, greeting engaging and nurturing potential customers, coordinating vehicle test drives, assisting with trade-ins value, and negotiating prices for the various products and services.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and Interpret Market Data: Conducting market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs and actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media.
  • Customer Database Management: Establish contact and develop relationships with prospective customers and keep a record of sales and order information while eensuring that revenue contract templates and other resources available to Customers are maintained, relevant and accurate.
  • Customer Requirements Analysis: Gain an understanding of the customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale and review progress of existing orders and negotiate the terms of an agreement and closing sales.
  • Sales Documentation: Make accurate, rapid cost calculations and provide customers with quotations and ensure all Purchase Orders are linked correctly to the sales orders; Check and adjust purchase orders to comply with customers, dates, pricing, quantities, and shipping information.
  • Skilling and Capacity Development: Lead, mentor, develop, coach, train and appraise subordinates and peers to help them be successful in their roles and to progress in their skills and abilities.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Develop and implement Monthly Work Plans necessary for executing the above duties and responsibilities and Performance Reports detailing all Products and Services Sales aspects within the company.
  • Any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree (Honors) in Marketing, Sales, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Business or Related Field from a recognized Institution.
  • The applicant should have General Working Experience of at least Two (2) years. The applicant should have served in a Sales and/or Product Support role or related field in a reputable organization for at least One (1) year.
