Job Title:  Checker Operator

Job Summary:   The Checker Operator will load, unload and stack materials safely and efficiently while maintaining our governance and Customer service standards also live and understand the values of ABInBev.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• To load and offload beer, empties, pallets and any other work as assigned by the supervisor
• House keeping
• Proper beer and empties stacking
• Adherence to PPE use
• Routine forklift checks to ensure preventive maintenance and servicing is done
• Attending sectional & departmental meetings
• Safety and Health

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The applicant must hold a Diploma in Business related course
• At least three years of uninterrupted work experience as a driver
• Should have satisfactorily completed a basic truck operator training program and is authorized to operate a forklift
• Must possess a valid driver’s License, preferably Class G i.e. 2 years’ experience in driving a Forklift and accident free.
• Medically Fit.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Hard working.
• Quick learner.
• Computer knowledge to help adopt to our digital tools
• Be able to work independently
