Job Summary:   The Channel and Trade Marketing Manager will contribute to CCBU vision by developing and implementing a winning channel strategy, driving system and customer value and leading local operational Channel and Trade Marketing strategies.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop Key Customer Service Drivers to enable revenue growth and margin expansion.
  • Develop and execute Countrywide Channel & Trade Marketing Plans.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and communicate the category performance across channels and customers.
  • Work in a cross functional team to develop the Look of Success by developing the execution point of purchase by channel.
  • Build superior knowledge and understanding of the market including shoppers, consumers, customers categories and competitors.
  • Deliver superior brand activation, shopper and channel strategies and plans.
  • Generate promotional execution strategies to support sales and maximize revenue growth at regional level.
  • Communicate brand activation plans to channel regional and national key account sales teams to ensure superior in store execution.
  • Develop trade marketing tools and equipment to support sales teams by category by region.
  • Execute short and long-term revenue growth strategies for local customers.
  • Build superior knowledge and understanding of the market including shoppers, consumers, customers categories and competitors.
  • Responsible for the co-ordination of POS materials
  • Manage Direct Marketing Expenditure.





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related or related discipline.
  • Added advantage: Relevant postgraduate qualifications.
  • Minimum requirement: At least eight years of relevant experience in FMCG sales, or/and marketing.
  • Strong understanding of the macro business environment
  • In-depth understanding of the country beverage market and understanding and appreciation of the competitive and competitor environment
  • Significant experience and/or exposure to development and implementation of business strategy with strong expertise in brand marketing, innovation process, strategy development,
