Job Summary:   The Outbound Officer (Telemarketing) will mainly reduce account dormancy and inactivity and market bank products and services via phone

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Make outgoing calls to customers with dormant and inactive accounts to convert their accounts back to active status.
  • Answer any questions raised by the customers about product specifications and pricing.
  • Cross sell to customers based on Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) to generate and increase revenue potential; increase profit.
  • Maintain a list of willing customers and follow up with those customers by making subsequent sales pitches.
  • Contact customers in response to correspondence or feedback
  • Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service inquiries.
  • Keep accurate and detailed records of calls made and results achieved.
  • Take incoming customer calls, and respond to the inquiries or complaints.

 

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • 90% Reduction of dormant and inactive accounts
  • Talk time – 5 hours
  • Conversion rate > 95%
  • Customer interaction quality > 95%




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a First degree in any field
  • One year of experience in the banking industry or any sales related industry
  • Customer service/management skills
  • Basic banking operations
  • Customer centric
  • Result oriented
  • Communication and analytical skills
  • Persuasion skills
  • Ability to handle rejection
  • Relationship management
  • Respectful persistence
