Job Summary: The Outbound Officer (Telemarketing) will mainly reduce account dormancy and inactivity and market bank products and services via phone
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Make outgoing calls to customers with dormant and inactive accounts to convert their accounts back to active status.
- Answer any questions raised by the customers about product specifications and pricing.
- Cross sell to customers based on Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) to generate and increase revenue potential; increase profit.
- Maintain a list of willing customers and follow up with those customers by making subsequent sales pitches.
- Contact customers in response to correspondence or feedback
- Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service inquiries.
- Keep accurate and detailed records of calls made and results achieved.
- Take incoming customer calls, and respond to the inquiries or complaints.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- 90% Reduction of dormant and inactive accounts
- Talk time – 5 hours
- Conversion rate > 95%
- Customer interaction quality > 95%
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a First degree in any field
- One year of experience in the banking industry or any sales related industry
- Customer service/management skills
- Basic banking operations
- Customer centric

- Communication and analytical skills
- Persuasion skills
- Ability to handle rejection
- Relationship management
- Respectful persistence
