The bank operates 32 regulated branches and 131 satellite offices covering 84 districts in Uganda targeting Micro, Small. and Medium Entrepreneurs. BRAC Uganda Bank Ltd promotes financial inclusion by extending financial services to unserved and underserved populations especially women and youth as well as people living in poverty in rural areas. The Bank is operationally and financially self-sustaining with over 231,000 active customers and a loan book in excess of Ushs.175 billion.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure Implementation of security policies, protocols, and procedures to maximize the safety and security of all BRAC Uganda Bank staff and assets.
- Direct, review, and coordinate security activities including access
- Develop and ensure emergence response and contingency planning.
- Manage and coordinate response to medical emergencies, threats, and fire/ intrusion alarms.
- Supervise the Security service providers and their adherence to SLAs.
- Supervise & and coordinate the fleet management at BUBL
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Diploma in Business Administration, Social Sciences, or related field. A degree is an added advantage.
- Five years of experience in security organizations, companies.
- Experience in investigations and intelligence information gatherings.
- knowledge & understanding of relevant technologies and equipment’s.
- Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
- Knowledge of current emerging security threats in Uganda and globally.
- Ability to work under pressure
