Job Summary: We are seeking for a meticulous Cost Controller for our Food and Beverage department. Responsibilities include calculating costs, strategic short and long-term F&B planning, inventory management, and periodic control reporting. The role involves adjusting menu prices based on costing data and actively contributing to menu engineering for optimal pricing.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and control Food & Beverage costs effectively.
- Conduct regular inventory checks for accurate ordering and monitor stock transfers.
- Assist in setting menu item sale prices.
- Control wastage, pilferage, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Prepare and communicate variance analyses for food and beverage expenses.
- Compile accurate daily and monthly cost reports, verify revenue reports for accuracy.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Diploma/Degree in Finance and Accounting or related field
- At least four years of relevant experience
- Preferably experienced in a 4-star hotel environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and planning abilities
- Highly accurate and detail-oriented
- Experience in using materials control is a must.
