Job Summary: Under the guidance and supervision of the Senior Lead Partnerships, the Partnerships – Operations Lead will work to facilitate and support M-KOPA in building partnerships and managing all operational aspects of the indirect channel.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Administration
- Facilitate processes and engage in activities to build positive relations between M-KOPA and various stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth cross-operations for different partnership projects.
- Provide supervision and guidance to partner colleagues in project planning and monitoring.
- Understand the Below the Line (BTL) needs of the indirect channel and work with both partners and the Marketing team to provide necessary merchandise for the indirect channel, enhancing its operations and performance.
- Prepare and share monthly indirect channel BTL needs within the appropriate timelines.
- Monitor and manage the weekly and monthly Partnerships BTL tracker on a weekly and/or monthly basis.
Reporting
- Prepare and share partner and dealer performance reports in a timely manner on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Prepare and share monthly performance reports with the finance team to facilitate monthly dealer payments.
- Develop regular reports on performance trends and conduct deep dives as requested by the line manager.
Partnership and Networking
- Identify potential partners and stakeholders within the indirect channel that align with our market objectives.
- Initiate contact and establish strong relationships with indirect channel partners, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
- Consistently monitor the performance of the indirect channel using determined metrics.
- Monitor and follow up on performing and nonperforming outlets with necessary stakeholders, devising strategies to improve outlet performance.
- Work with internal teams to coordinate partnership efforts and support the development of partnership strategies.
- Attend meetings, visit partner institutions to discuss initiatives, and explore other collaborations.
- Prepare and manage the partnerships issue tracker.
- Perform any other duties as guided by the line manager.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelors in Statistics, Economics, or related fields is preferred.
- Two years of experience including experience doing analysis using Excel. Strong field research experience as a lead added advantage.
- Proficiency in analytical tools, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Good project management skills.
- Well organized; able to meet deadlines, a good understanding of time management.
- Proactive and self-motivated, able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well in multicultural teams.
- Demonstrated effective written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
- Willing to learn new skills/knowledge related to the scope/content of the specific projects.
- Able to generate creative, practical approaches to overcome challenging situations.
- Strong character, multitasking person who can work under pressure.
