Job Title: Graduate Trainee – Legal & Board Affairs (No Experience Jobs)

Uganda Airlines is the flag carrier of Uganda. The company is a revival of the older Uganda Airlines which operated from 1977 until 2001. It began flying in August 2019.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Legal Research: Conduct in-depth legal research on various matters, including regulations, case laws, and legal precedents.
- Document Review: Assist in the review and preparation of legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
- Compliance: Support the compliance team in ensuring that the company adheres to all relevant laws and regulations.
- Board Meetings: Participate in the preparation and documentation of board meetings and assist in the implementation of decisions taken during these meetings.
- Corporate Governance: Gain insights into corporate governance practices and procedures and assist in maintaining compliance.
- Learning and Development: Engage in ongoing training and development opportunities, including workshops, seminars, and mentorship programs.
- Assist Legal Team: Collaborate with senior legal professionals on various legal matters and cases.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field.
- A Diploma in Legal Practice from LDC
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional research and analytical abilities.
- A strong desire to learn and grow in the legal and board affairs field.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Enthusiasm for teamwork and collaboration.
