Job Summary:   The Manager – Demand Management will plan; direct and coordinate demand and supply planning; managing the annual operating plan and maintaining the demand / supply forecast. Work with the business to ensure the demand is captured, prioritized, planned, and delivered through the defined ad hoc release cycles.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Translate demand requirements into supply requirements, both manpower and capacity (six quarter horizon)
  • Review and validate the demand management processes during the competency center requirements gathering.
  • Balance supply and demand in accordance with supply constraints and customer priorities
  • Help identify demand conflicts; recommend escalation where appropriate in order to drive resolution and balance requests for new work with current workload.
  • Manages the demand pipe, logs and performs high level analysis of requests.
  • Weekly Customer Reporting and managing PSCOM.
  • Customer coordination on delivery status
  • Vendor Management (Weekly report, getting drop dates, weekly meetings)
  • Tracking and managing delivery dependencies.
  • Tracking/Coordinating for Quotations & PO release.
  • Timely Managing Risks/Issues
  • CAB Motivation
  • Deployment coordination
  • Handover to operations
  • Communication management (senior management escalations, Postproduction communications etc.)

Supervisor/Leadership/Managerial Tasks                                                                                                                                   

  • Coach and mentor direct reports to ensure staff motivation is high.
  • Ensure performance and compliance obligations the procurement division are met.
  • Direct and monitor work of subordinates.
  • Ensure the team is led; motivated and rewarded to achieve key performance areas.
  • Identify staff training and development needs and implements necessary actions.
  • Participate in cross functional teams.
  • Recruit staff for appointments
  • Set goals and objectives for direct reports, monitor progress, and maintain motivation.
  • Set up appropriate structure to meet departmental management objectives.





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree.
  • Project management certification
  • At least five years of relevant experience which includes at least 3 years of project management experience.
