Job Summary: The Fleet/corporate Sales Manager has the opportunity to identify, consult and sell vehicles/bikes to fleet and commercial account customers. He is responsible for business development, operations, sales performance results, and customer satisfaction. This role will work within the business community and local government agencies to build relationships and drive vehicle/bike purchase programs in a business-to-business environment. The goal is to create an exceptional vehicle/bike-buying experience to build customer loyalty and referral business
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate internally and work as the customer champion in cross-functional teams to build strong external customer relationships
- Develop a personal network within the sales territory and represent the organization at trade shows and other events to identify sales opportunities, promote the organization, and enhance its reputation
- Develop and implement relationship management plans for complex potential customer to identify & build relationships with decision-makers and to enable an effective two-way flow of information\resolution of issues
- Evaluate the customer’s level of interest, and to identify and respond to areas requiring further information or explanation
- Extract and combine data to generate standard reports
- Maintain relationships with companies, either personally or by supervising an account management team. Work within established systems to develop solutions, generate new opportunities and ensure all customer demands are met
- Present products and/or services to the customer with a clear rationale and at standard commercial terms, referring to senior colleagues where necessary to ask for concessions (e.g., price reduction) that gain the customer’s agreement
- Sell a range of products and services to significant customers and/or manage a sales team for a given area, with guidance from senior colleagues.
- Set clear objectives for each sales call or meeting; tailor standard materials to make presentations to decision makers and influencers within the customer organization; and ask relevant questions to gather information,
- Use performance management systems to improve personal performance and monitor team performance;
- Use personal expertise to identify the complex standard products and/or services offered by the organization that meet the customer’s needs, together with quantities and product configurations.
- Allocate work and review completion, take appropriate corrective action to ensure timeliness/quality; manage team formal individual performance management and appraisal
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent is preferable
- At least five years of experience preferably in parts
- Commercial training or training in cars technical aspects
- Knowledge Tenders and letters of credit procedures.
- Knowledgeable in general office equipment.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English written and spoken.
- highly motivated; manner and appearance; reliable, obliging, effective conversation
