Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Market Knowledge and Strategy .
- Making market information by product/customer wise and circulating the report.
- Selling/Sales/Campaign Project Mgt
- GP to be met as per budget.
- Retain and grow the business with existing customers.
- Buying – see KRV
- Sourcing and SRM – see KRV
- Customer Pricing
- Marketing
- Optimize stocks and manage slow movers/obsolete stocks
- Handle major complaints and claims
- Managing key suppliers, increasing exclusive supplier business
- Provides technical support for sales team
- Assists in developing of supplier products within EA and neighboring countries .
- Improve organization’s market position
- Maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions and competitors
- Identifies new business opportunities
- Participates in setting pricing solutions
- Attends industry events
- Identifies opportunities for campaigns, fairs, services and distribution channels that will increase sales
Key Performance Indicators:
- Implement pricing strategies
- Increasing exclusive supplier business
- CRM Reports- 40 Customers /month.
- Reporting- internally and to principles
- Identifying new suppliers for potential strategic products
- Training of sales department
- Ordering of stock and managing stock levels
- Support procurement department- forecasts to sales team
- Technical support for the sales team
- Develops key customer relationships
- Regular training on all NPD products from suppliers
- Identifies business opportunities
- Involvement in pricing solutions and services
- Technical visits to customers
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience may also be considered.
- In-depth knowledge of the chemicals and plastics industry, with a focus on Master batches, Waxes, Solvents, Polymers, and Stabilizers.
- A proven track record of at least 5 years in B2B sales, ideally within the chemical and plastics sector.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the characteristics, applications, and benefits of the products being sold.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information effectively.
- Proficiency in conducting market research and utilizing data to develop sales strategies.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical details about products.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals.
- Experience in managing customer projects, coordinating with internal teams, and meeting project deadlines.
- Proficiency in using CRM software, SAP and other sales-related tools.
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and site visits.
