Job Title: Customer Care Assistant (2 No Experience Jobs)

About US:
Uganda Heart Institute was legally established in 2001 as a Company limited by guarantee of its founding Bodies namely, Mulago Hospital, Ministry of Health, Makerere University and Uganda Heart Foundation. In UHI therefore commenced operating as a semi-autonomous Unit under Mulago Hospital. The purpose of the registering UHI as a limited Company was to fasten the growth and development of the Institute, by enabling it to solicit for funds and manage its resources at source.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management of the front desk office and reception area in accordance with established standards. Collaborate with the Clinical team to provide guidance to patients and direct them to appropriate service points.
- Efficiently handle incoming and outgoing phone calls, maintaining comprehensive call records as per Hospital guidelines
- Welcome, register, and assist patients and visitors, ensuring they are directed to relevant offices
- Address inquiries and offer general information regarding the department’s activities and services
- Disseminate information about the Hospital’s services,
- complying with established Hospital policies and procedures.
- Foster effective coordination between internal and external customers and various Departments.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a diploma in Mass Communication, Customer Care, Hospitality, or related field from a recognized university/Institution.
