Job Title:   Internal Information Technology Services Consultant

Organisation: CFAO Motors Uganda (formerly Toyota Uganda Limited)

Duty Station:  Namanve, Mukono, Uganda

CFAO Motors Uganda is a subsidiary of CFAO Automotive, a division of the CFAO Group, which is part of Toyota Tsusho Corporation.

 

CFAO Motors Uganda are also the official distributors of brand-new Suzuki vehicles, Yamaha motorcycles, Hino Trucks, and Toyota forklifts. The company also proposes a range of short and long-term lease and car rental solutions for businesses through the LOXEA brand and its partner Avis Fleet. It also provides a raft of other services to expand the offering, including fleet management, geolocation, telematics and more.

 

Job Summary:  The Internal Information Technology Services Consultant will be end-to-end responsible automating and adapting CFAO’s IT Service Management best practices through coordinating all processes for Incident and Problem Resolution, Change Control, Release and Service Level Agreements Management, End-User Self-Service and Asset Lifecycle Management.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the IT service desk and ensure timely resolution of all incidences logged by internal customers.
  • Manage vendor management process including keeping track of Service Level Agreements and IT procurements.
  • Manage all IT communication to the business.
  • Timely and accurate IT reporting and ensure that all IT projects are well documented.
  • Manage the IT process of staff entries & exits and internal changes.
  • Conduct trainings based on business needs identified.
  • Ensure that system hardware and software incidents are investigated, diagnosed and resolved, including action plans to improve performance, while maintaining the asset registers/inventory.
  • Monitor IT internal audit compliance, findings and implementation of requirements.
  • Design and implement IT satisfaction surveys.
  • Support the Systems administrator with management of business applications, systems & servers & the Network Administrator with management of the network and all interfaces.





Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology
  • ITIL Certification
  • Microsoft Certification (MCSE, MCITP)
  • At least three years of experience in a busy IT environment
  • Knowledge of virtual desktop infrastructure support.
  • Knowledge and understanding of new technologies and trends.
  • Appreciation of the hybrid IT support model.
  • Skills: Interpersonal, Problem solving, Planning and Organization, Report writing, Project management
  • Behavioral: Integrity, Innovation, Results driven, Customer centricity, Accountability, Flexibility/Adaptability, Team player
