Job Summary: The HSEQ Methods & Support Officer is tasked with championing the communication, planning, tracking, reporting, and motivating staff for the development and attainment of HSEQ objectives for all business channels.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Champions the H3SEQ department activity planning in Q4 of each year.
- Reports on department/company HSE Performance by managing and tracking fulfilment of key KPIs such as reporting index as well as develop improvement proposals.
- Maintains and tracks Affiliate HSE Action Plans.
- Drives awareness and cultural transformation initiatives for HSE.
- Plans, organizes and hosts key HSE conventions/meetings.
- Manages the H3SEQ administrative function, purchase requests and follow up on delivery, stocking, and disbursement of HSE materials.
- Inducts all new staff on Company HSEQ requirements.
- Conducts spot visits on sites and projects and prepares reports on the same.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in quality management, engineering (Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial) or related field.
- Minimum of one (1) years of post-qualifying experience preferably in the petroleum or logistics industry.
- Strong conceptual and innovative skills.
- Experience in analysis, logistics, safety, or engineering is desirable.
