Job Summary: We are looking for an Electrician. Can you carry out electrical tasks to guarantee the electrical system’s smooth operation? Do you pay attention to details? Are you analytical and collaborative? We are looking for you!
We offer an interesting job that gives you a lot of autonomy and responsibility and requires you to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical machines.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Timely troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical system.
- Maintenance of the electrical machines and installation.
- Ensuring that the Green houses lights are working properly 24/7.
- Supervising the Light Askari team.
- Exercising safety precaution to guard lives of team regarding electrical works.
- Monitoring electrical system following the machinery checklist.
- Ensuring company assets are properly maintained.
- Timely submission of accurate required reports.
- Being able to back up the light askari at night when called upon
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent
- Experience in troubleshooting and fault identification for at least 2 years in a busy setting.
- Understanding of the electrical terminologies.
- Good expression in English and Luganda.
- Ability to use computer aided drawing equipment is an added advantage.
- Able to read and interpret the electrical drawings.
