Job Summary: The Assistant Manager Mechanical Maintenance will install and maintain the electrical installations of Unit 2
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare the preventive maintenance schedule and ensure its implementation
- Prepare the list of critical spares of mechanical maintenance and inform stores to hold the minimum stock
- The electrical and instrumentation break down to be below 2%
- Ensure regular preventive maintenance is being carried out by team and monitor them on daily basis
- Daily shop floor rounds and observing the health of the machineries
- Timely submission of statutory returns and carrying out statutory checkups, for respective equipment as per the requirements of the government control authorities
- Selecting and training the mechanical engineers, Fitters and Operators
- To carry out the maintenance activities of Machineries, Material Handling Equipment’s, Pneumatic and Fluid handling equipment’s
- Participate and implement the Quality, Food safety and ERP system implementation
- Ensuring the quality, food safety, ERP systems don’t get affected due to the functioning of electrical department
- Weekly and Monthly MIS submission on time
- To carry out the other activities as per the requirement of the company
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Diploma /B.E – Mechanical
- At least ten to fifteen years of work experience for a diploma holder or 7-13 yrs work experience for a degree holder
- Maintenance of machineries, material handling systems, pneumatic and fluid conveying systems etc
