Reach Out Mbuya Community Health Initiative (ROM) is a Faith and Community-based organization providing holistic care to extremely vulnerable people living with HIV/AIDS. ROM holistically focuses on the body, mind, family, and community wellbeing.
Job Summary: The Human Resource Officer will provide human resource services to the various public health facilities and staff of Reach Out Mbuya.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the recruitment and selection process for district supported staff as per the approved human resource plan, implement the induction and placement procedure for new staff and manage staff exit process in line with the ROM HR Manual
- Prepare and submit to the HR manager monthly and quarterly reports in regard to the human resource management issues related to district staff in line with the ROM HR Manual.
- Maintain and update the HR regional data base according to the approved personnel lists by the HR Manager
- Generate clock in & out time system in alignment to the leave and out of office information in line with the ROM HR Manual and submit monthly reports to the HR Manager for implementation.
- Monitor implementation of employee relations, health and safety, leave management and welfare procedures and attend HR clinics to identify welfare issues and staff concerns for the HR Manager’s attention
- Implement performance management system, policies and procedures and provide technical support to the staff
- Participate in the development and monitoring or the regional HR plan and budget in line with the HR departmental plan.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Degree in Human Resource management, Social Sciences, industrial/Organizational Psychology
- Three years’ experience in Human Resource work
- Three years of experience supporting HRH supervisions in an NGO,
- Knowledge, understanding and proficiency in the field of Human Resources Management
- Knowledge of the organizational policies, systems and procedures as well as local government procedures
- Good understanding of national legal requirements relating to HR, including labor laws
