Job Title:  Senior Officer Asset Finance

Job Summary:  The Senior Officer Asset Finance will be responsible for proper evaluation of asset finance requests to grow a sustainable Asset Finance portfolio, capacity building for branch staff, generate income while maintaining quality and offering wholesome customer relationship management towards the achievement of the Bank’s mission.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review all asset proposals/reports submitted by Business bankers and personal bankers for accuracy and compliance with the credit policy before presentation to the relevant approval committees/users.
• Prepare and review asset finance reports
• Diarize the inflow and outflow of Asset Finance applications and monitor their timely disposal in line with the policy and procedures
• Generate, reconcile and make timely reports with recommendations to different stakeholders

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, and other related fields
• At least four years of experience in lending in a busy institution, of which 2 should be in asset financing evaluation.
• Excellent computer skills (Excel sheets)
• Analytical skills

• Clean Disciplinary record
• Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
