Job Summary: The Medical Doctor will work in remote projects areas. Emergency medical services (EMS) is a large portion of the operational responsibility. Work involves stressful situations dealing with emergency situations such as multiple traumas, cardiac arrests, overdoses, strokes, paediatric emergencies, falls, car crashes, assaults and emotionally ill patients. This position may involve medical responses on a transport unit (ambulance) or on a remote setting/site.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide medical assessment, diagnostic determination, and clinical management necessary to ensure appropriate clinical disposition of Emergency patients.
- Accurate and timely completion of all clinical and professional records and documentation to assure compliance with license, and accreditation requirements.
- Emergency response, resuscitation and stabilization of critically ill or Injured (trauma) patients, Applying Advanced Life Support (ALS) in emergency medical conditions.
- Primary outpatient care that is, treatment of non-emergency medical conditions.
- Management of remote site medical inventories.
- Implementation of site health plans and preventive medicine activities as required, including health promotion and educational activities.
- Regular health and hygiene inspections of onsite catering, accommodation and Laundry areas, the inspection frequency shall follow CONTRACTOR’s requirements.
- Documentation, activity logs and confidential patient medical record keeping associated with the above activities.
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a bachelor degree in medicine with at least 4years experience post internship and BLS, ACLS training.
- At least two years’ experience working in emergency department in well recognized facility.
- Should be Ready to work immediately.
