Job Summary: Are you a trusted support partner, to support delivery of efficient and effective operations in the HR Department. We are looking for a Human Resource Administrator to offer robust HR support solutions to ensure HR services are delivered to drive business performance, oversight delivery of all HR & people deliverables to the business in Uganda.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coach line and junior managers at the business unit or site level
- Conduct initial screening of resumes and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
- Identify and implement measures to improve site profitability
- Manage internal and external customer relationship
- Stay updated on labour laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure compliance.
- Deploy local initiatives to increase employee satisfaction, performance, retention, and effective communication at all levels
- Update employee data in the HR system and maintain accuracy of employee data
- Provide clerical and administrative support in the preparation of Uganda payroll to ensure accuracy and timeliness in meeting salary payment deadlines
- Deploy DSC and local HR strategy
- Ensure delivery of annual performance reviews and tracking development.
- Coordinating internal and External trainings.
- Identify HR solutions to add value to the local business and customer agendas
- Support managers to develop and deliver solutions for workforce planning and management including organization design, forecasting resourcing needs and identifying future talent requirements.
- Act as a coach to managers to increase management capability and compliance with policies
- Support effective delivery of HR technology “
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or business-related field
- Three to five years of experience in various Human Resources-related areas
- Exposure across all key aspects of HR processes including Talent, C&B, ER/IR etc.: Knowledge of the country’s labor/employment laws & common HR practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: Business understanding
- Proven experience of building & maintaining relationship
- Proven experience of delivery of organizational change project
