About US:
Rada is a fast-growing footwear brand in the business of manufacturing and retailing pure leather footwear in Uganda. The company aims to supply at least 2,000 pairs of shoes daily by the end of 2025.
Job Summary: The Accounts Assistant shall be responsible for effective operational support to the company. They shall ensure daily up to date financial and non-financial information.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Date Management (Contribution 40%):
- Data capture and entry
- Client order management
- Proper filing
Account Management (Contribution 40%):
- Ensure accounts
- Supporting in preparation of monthly and quarterly accounts
- Keep track of payables and receivables
Stores Management (Contribution 20%):
- Sorting and managing orders
- Organizing orders
- Performance reviews
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a diploma in business/finance.
- Knowledge and experience in accounting, Microsoft packages and accounting packages (QuickBooks & Tally).
- Experience in general support function of a business firm.
- Ability to make decisions independently.
