SHYNE’A Uganda is a registered Non-Governmental Organization (DPO) formed by persons with Spina bifida and Hydrocephalus and their care takers to improve the lives of Spina bifida and Hydrocephalus persons & their carers to promote sustainable inclusive development thru a cooperative network of social agencies.
SHYNE’A offers community-based programmes to both SBH persons and their families; before and after treatment. It was founded in 2015 and operates in the central region. The Central region is one of four regions in the country of Uganda. SHYNE’A works hand in hand with SBH association in different regions of the country and service providers to ensure SBH persons receive timely and necessary care.
