Job Title:   Marketing & Partnerships Associate (Fresher Jobs)

About US:

Pezesha is an online marketplace for business loans. We connect MSMEs to affordable working capital and other financial services through a collaborative approach with capital providers such as banks, MFIs and other Financial Institutions or networks. We have two main propositions: (i) Direct MSME lending (where we acquire each customer on an individual basis and use a scorecard approach for evaluating MSMEs), and (ii) Merchant Financing (where we integrate into the processes of organisations with large networks of merchants and use of proprietary credit scoring technology to assess and offer credit as a value-add to those merchants).

Job Summary:  We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing & Partnerships Associate to join our Uganda team in driving growth in that market.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identifying, managing and retention of strategic partner relationships
• Maintain a leads pipeline with updates on progress for closing partnerships
• Sales, Outreach and Marketing of the companies’ products and services to strategic partners and targeted audience
• Social media management and related content development on a weekly basis
• Market Research to guide the company’s product developments in order to remain competitive.
• Pitching/presenting products/Services to new customers/partners at strategic events/meetings
• Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives and product launches
• Proposal writing & preparing presentations with the guidance of senior management
• Lead product testing and quality assurance process to ensure it matches customers/Partners needs.
• Lead financial education outreach programs
• Reporting to the relevant stakeholders on business progress.
• Gather customer feedback to inform sales and product teams

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The applicant should be a graduate of Bcom, Administration, Public Relations or Marketing or a related field
• A minimum of three years of professional work experience in business development, sales or marketing
• Basic computer skills, Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics
• Ability to manage multiple projects and self drive toward targets while ensuring quality output and prioritization.
• Strong copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to bring clarity and meaning to complex, technical subjects with experience in internal communications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• High level of interpersonal maturity, hardworking, and professionalism
• Unwavering commitment to service and customer orientation
• Team player who demonstrates positive attitude, creativity, energy, entrepreneurial spirit, dedication to collaboration
• In-depth knowledge of the Financial industry and its current events
• The ability to handle pressure, negotiate and close deals in a given deadline
• Attention to detail
• Excellent time management and organization
• Added advantage: Two years of experience in doing the same in a Fintech or financial or supply chain sector.
