Job Summary: Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a Data Centre, ICT & Assets Manager to join our team in Kampala, Uganda.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Sciences or related discipline.
- Good experience in the field of ICT software and hardware management.
- Good experience in the field of data and database design, administration, and usage (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MySQL database, MongoDB).
- Good experience of data input and capture technologies (e.g., ODK, Kobo).
- Some knowledge of data analysis technologies (e.g., Microsoft Power BI).
- A Post Graduate Degree in Information Systems Management.
- Good analytical skills.
- Good spreadsheet (Excel) and other office software skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and abilities.
- Ability to effectively manage time and resolve crises.
- Basic familiarity with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Data Protection and Privacy Act Uganda and other relevant privacy regulations.
- Willingness to learn the regulatory aspects of UK GDPR and other relevant privacy regulations (other countries)
