Job Title: Assistant Quality Controller

In 1979, our first product was baked giving birth to Ntake bakery. Since then we have grown into a multi sector business comprising of a bakery, wheat mill and paper recycling plant. With household names like Kaswa baking flour, AAA tissue and our bread which has come to be simply known as Ntake, we have endeared ourselves to the hearts of many Ugandans.
Job Summary: The Assistant Quality Controller will ensure that all company products are of a high quality.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- To check the quality of finished products and advise the units to rectify the defects noticed in the process.
- To inspect cleaning and sanitation of the area.
- Supporting the formulation and implementation of quality control systems within the organization.
- Able to formulate the quality control manual.
- Maintaining quality control records.
- Ensuring strict compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Following changes in regulations and compiling reports regarding compliance issues, standards.
- Providing leadership, training, and development to Bakery staff.
- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for Ntake Bakery & Company limited Assistant Quality Controller job must hold a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in food science and technology from a recognised institute.
- Minimum of 1 year working experience in quality control and Assurance.
- Must be a computer literate with excellent skills in MS. Word, Excel, Power point etc.
- Good communication skills.
- Willing to work upcountry.
