Job Title: Salesperson (10 Fresher Job Opportunities)

Duty Station: Kampala (5 Jobs) and Entebbe (5 Jobs), Uganda
Reports to: Business Development Manager
Salary: Fixed Base Pay + commission (to be shared for the selected applicant).

Yo-Waste is a garbage collection and waste recycling company whose mission is to build zero waste communities, one city at a time. This starts by making sure waste never ends up in illegal dumps in our communities but rather goes to re-using & recycling. We believe technology is important for creating an effective and transparent circular waste company in Africa.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Door-to-door marketing
- Signing up new clients.
- Negotiating contracts with prospective clients.
- Meeting or exceeding sales goals/targets.
- Generating leads.
- Understanding and promoting company programs within the community.
- Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs and promote our products and services.
- Attending trade shows and conferences: You may be required to attend trade shows and conferences to represent Yo-Waste and promote its services to potential customers.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in sales or a related field. Experience in waste management or environmental services may be preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Excellent customer service skills in order to build and maintain relationships with customers
- Basic math and computer skills. Competency in Microsoft applications including Word and Excel.
- Experience using smartphones for a variety of tasks.
- Basic understanding of the waste management industry and the services offered by the company
