About US:

Inputi is an agro digital marketplace that leverages technology to aggregate demand and supply of genuine farm inputs by farmers and dealers, respectively. After aggregating, Inputi implements a last mile delivery to farms through an integrated digital marketplace across Uganda.

 

Job Summary:  The Project and Grants Manager is responsible for end to end management & adherence to project and grant guidelines and monitoring, documentation of impact and will be reporting to the Chief Operating Officer.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Projects Management, Certifications like PMP, Monitoring and Evaluation are an added advantage
  • Proven experience in managing projects and grants, preferably in the agricultural or agritech sector
  • Familiarity with the Ugandan agricultural landscape and related challenges would be advantageous.
  • Strong project management skills to plan, execute, monitor, and evaluate projects effectively.
  • Ability to develop project plans, set objectives, and define key performance indicators (KPIs) for project success.
  • In-depth knowledge of grant management principles and practices.
  • Experience in creating project timelines, allocating resources, and managing project budgets.
  • Ability to identify funding opportunities, develop grant proposals, and submit applications to relevant donors or funding agencies.
  • Familiarity with donor requirements and the ability to ensure adherence to grant guidelines and reporting obligations.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with funding organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders in the agriculture sector.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess project viability, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Ability to analyze project data, evaluate outcomes, and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
