Job Summary: The Manager, Partnerships will steer Stanbic’s inorganic growth strategy, driving transactions that will accelerate our ambition to step into new lines of business and bring additional strength to Stanbic. The role holder will ideate, think analytically and strategically about a diverse array of opportunities and challenges, in a bid to bring together all the pieces of a transaction that meaningfully delivers to our customers and advances our growth.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The responsibility includes leading strategic investment projects effectively applying due diligence and financial modelling with a view to making good investment decisions and spearheading the transaction execution process
- This will require building and maintaining an opportunity assessment framework to guide the identification, promotion and development of new markets, services or capabilities through partnerships and/or ecosystem engagements.
- The holder will Identify and vet all 3rd party partnership opportunities which will be delivered by the SBG and other 3rd party platforms.
- The role puts emphasis on driving impact in close collaboration with ecosystem drivers, solutions and business leaders.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant for the Stanbic Bank job must hold a First Degree in Business Commerce or Business-related Course
- A post graduate qualification or Chartered Accountant or MBA, Project Management, Law or Commerce will be added advantage
- Five to seven years of partnership experience
- Proven track record of delivery in a senior product, financial and risk management capacity in a leading financial institution.
- Proven track record of interpreting and practicing integrated product, financial and risk management principles.
- Experience in process re-engineering and change management.
- Proven track record of management of financial objectives, both value creation and cost reduction.
- Experience in managing ROE targets considering profitability measures and capital.
