Job Title: HR Assistant (Fresher Jobs)

Finnish Refugee Council (FRC) is an NGO providing adult education and community development among refugees in Uganda since 1997 as an operational partner to OPM and UNHCR.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Human Resource Roles
- Participate in recruitment, placement, and separation process of staff in line with the FRC procedures.
- Arrange and prepare new staff orientation and registration schedules.
- In liaison with the HR Manager, monitor the performance management of staff.
- Assist in payroll for staff and related documentation to justify the computations of the staff salaries.
- Track staff leave database and provide monthly updates of the used and balance days’ status.
- Preparation of monthly HR report.
Administrative roles
- Ensure that staff have adequate stationery and consumables.
- Print, photocopy, bind and scan official documents when required.
- Arrange for accommodation for staff and venues for organizational meetings.
- Collect monthly back-up information from all staff.
- Procure staff ID cards, Business Cards, mobile phones and SIM cards for staff.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in HR management or in a relevant field.
- At least two years of experience in Human Resource Management:
- Excellent verbal and written communication ability.
- Flexible, innovative, with good record keeping, reporting, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Computer literacy with knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook.
