Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Keeping records, manage receipts and documenting financial processes/transactions in accordance with bookkeeping guidelines.
- Assist in requisitioning and processing of vendor payments.
- Implement the accounting system by posting transactions accordingly in the AIMS – Tracking requisitions, and handling payments per approved workflows.
- Assist in the processing of requisitions, reviewing account payables, and as well support purchases in accordance with documented procedures.
- Support audit exercises (internal & external).
- Assisting on other monthly and periodic close tasks as assigned by the supervisor including review/preparation reports.
- Reconciling daily, monthly and yearly transactions.
- Make petty cash transactions and keep accurate records of petty cash transactions.
- Daily/timely banking of cash and cheques in appropriate bank accounts as advised.
- Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in accounts or commerce or economics or business or mathematics.
- At least three years’ experience in Accounts and finance.
- At least a certificate in Insurance.
- Time management.
- Negotiation skills.
- Inter personal skills.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written.
- Computer skills in Ms Word, Ms Excel, Ms Powerpoint and Accounting Quick Books.
- Ability to multi task.
