Job Summary: The Driver will transport staff and company products to assigned destinations and ensure the vehicles are kept in good condition at all times
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handle all driving assignments as approved by the supervisor;
- Carry out daily pre and post-vehicle maintenance checks;
- Adhere to the highest driving standards by complying with the transport policy and the road safety act.
- Ensure the assigned vehicle has all the required documentation at all times.
- Ensure daily cleanliness of assigned vehicle.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Uganda Certificate of Education (U.C.E) certificate
- A certificate in defensive driving.
- The applicant must possess a valid driving permit with at least 3 classes; B, C1, D1 & BE
- At least three years of driving experience in a commercial environment
- Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics.
- Basic computer skills.
- Good knowledge of Uganda’s road network.
- Ability to write, read and speak English fluently.
- Excellent communication (oral & written) and interpersonal skills.
- Should have a high level of integrity and confidentiality
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with odd hours and night shifts.
