Job Summary: We are searching for a talented social media manager to represent our clients by building a social media presence. The social media manager in Uganda will be required to contribute to strategy development, create high-quality content & manage vibrant communities on our clients’ social media channels. You should also be able to engage influencers.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Running company social media advertising campaigns.
- Formulating high-quality content for each social media campaign.
- Building a social media presence by maintaining a solid online presence.
- Building brand awareness by engaging relevant influencers.
- Managing online communities to ensure respectful and appropriate engagement.
- Responding to comments on our clients’ accounts.
- Overseeing customer service provided via social media.
- Analyzing data to determine whether social media campaigns have achieved their objectives.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- At least two years of experience developing social media strategies. (social media training & certification is a plus)
- Two years of experience working with a marketing department or agency or related role.
- Proven ability to build social media communities. (share links in application)
- Understanding of graphic design principles in order to guide our designers on tasks.
