Job Summary: The Schneider Electric Process Automation scope on the Tilenga project is to develop the detailed engineering, construction, operation, and maintenance of the corresponding Process Control System.
We have an exciting opportunity for Process Control System Engineer to join us on our digitized journey. The role will be based initially in one of our global engineering hubs which will require mobility. After that, the project will be delivered on-site in Uganda.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidates will be involved in different aspects of Process Control and Automation i.e.
- Process Control System design and build
- Software engineering design and build
- Factory Acceptance testing
- Site installation
- Site Acceptance testing
- Maintenance of the installed system at the site.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
We are looking for engineering graduates who strive to build a career in Automation & Control Systems and MUST have the following:
- University Qualifications with Electrical / Electronics / Control Systems / Instrumentation majors.
- Demonstrated 2+ years working in end-user or vendor company in industrial software and / or control and automation capacity.
- Excellent proven computing knowledge and MS Office applications.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Recognised certificates in Instrumentation and / or PLC Programming will be advantageous.
- Valid international travelling document(s) will be advantageous.
