Job Summary:  The Mobile Applications Development Specialist will be responsible for the planning and development of automated application systems to support the business needs of the Fund.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
  • Producing fully functional applications while writing clean code
  • Gathering specific requirements and suggesting solutions
  • Writing unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging to optimize performance.
  • Designing interfaces to improve user experience.
  • Liaising with the product development team to plan new features.
  • Reviewing new and legacy applications to ensure that they meet quality standards.
  • Researching and suggesting new mobile products, applications, and protocols
  • Staying up to date with new technology trends

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related field.
  • Certification in Angular and/or mobile application development (is an added advantage).
  • Five or more years of experience in developing production-ready mobile applications and at least 2 years of developing production-ready web applications.
  • Two years of working in a DevOps-powered software development environment.
  • Advanced problem-solving tools and techniques.
  • Demonstrable knowledge in developing mobile and web applications.
  • Ability to translate system requirements into working applications/features.
  • Ability to collaborate with others.
  • Advanced data collection and analysis.
