Job Summary: The Mobile Applications Development Specialist will be responsible for the planning and development of automated application systems to support the business needs of the Fund.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supporting the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
- Producing fully functional applications while writing clean code
- Gathering specific requirements and suggesting solutions
- Writing unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions.
- Troubleshooting and debugging to optimize performance.
- Designing interfaces to improve user experience.
- Liaising with the product development team to plan new features.
- Reviewing new and legacy applications to ensure that they meet quality standards.
- Researching and suggesting new mobile products, applications, and protocols
- Staying up to date with new technology trends

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related field.
- Certification in Angular and/or mobile application development (is an added advantage).
- Five or more years of experience in developing production-ready mobile applications and at least 2 years of developing production-ready web applications.
- Two years of working in a DevOps-powered software development environment.
- Advanced problem-solving tools and techniques.
- Demonstrable knowledge in developing mobile and web applications.
- Ability to translate system requirements into working applications/features.
- Ability to collaborate with others.
- Advanced data collection and analysis.
