Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda

Reports to: Business Intelligence Manager

Centenary Bank is a leading Commercial Microfinance Bank serving over a third of the banking population with services that can be accessed across 80 branches, 191 ATMs and over 5,200 CenteAgents and other digital platforms.

 

Job Summary:  The Data Analyst will understand, analyse business goals/needs and prepare Business Intelligence Reports and dashboards for the organization.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administer BI projects, prepare updates and implement all project phases to achieve project objectives.
  • Developing and managing business intelligence solutions for the organization
  • Analyze data, identify and prepare recommendations to the management team for business enhancement.
  • Delivering interactive presentations and generating reports for efficient data dissemination to a diverse audience.
  • Coordinate with Business managers to translate business requirements into coherent Business Intelligence (BI) reports.
  • Communicating insights to senior management and across the organization Implement new/improved data analysis methodologies in collaboration with the BI manager.
  • Manage all data from transactional and non-transactional sources.
  • Perform assessments on all reporting requirements and develop long term strategies for various reporting solutions.
  • Provide information access support to all business units through the BI platform and resolve any issues.
  • Validate data to the warehouse for data integrity, quality, and accuracy.
