Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Checking traffic updates before starting the journey.
  • Upholding safety measures before starting up the journey.
  • Keeping in touch with the transport supervisor on routes to take.
  • Keep at least a distance of ten miters when travelling in a convoy.
  • Ensuring safety of goods on the vehicle all the time.
  • Maintaining a record of vehicle maintenance receipts.
  • Keep track of road and climate conditions when travelling to avoid accidents.
  • Respect traffic rules and guidelines all the time.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • At least seven years of experience driving Manual Transmission vehicles.
  • Experience in escort services, former police officers and security company drivers preferred.
  • Must have a defensive driving certificate from a recognized institution.
  • Must have a clean driving and medical record.
  • Complete knowledge of road safety rules and regulations.
  • Familiarity with GPS tools and Google Maps.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent driving skills on road.
  • Well-groomed and highly motivated individual.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Ability to offer excellent customer service.
