Job Summary: Reporting to the HR and Admin Officer, the HR & Admin Volunteer is responsible for providing support for day-to-day administrative requirements, functions, and general office management of the IRC Kampala office.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support in creation of new staff personal files.
- Support recruitment exercise including sorting, long and shortlisting of applications.
- Supporting in drafting interview reports.
- Updating the existing personal files and ensuring they have the necessary information.
- Organizing the whole filing system according to staff T7s.
- Assisting in stamping all HR related documents.
- General organization of HR Office documents/paperwork.
- Support in induction processes.
- Any other official duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant for the International Rescue Committee (IRC) Human Resource & Administration Volunteer job must hold a bachelor’s degree in human resource management, or related field.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Knack for detail.
- Able to communicate effectively.
- Strong computer skills especially in MS excel and word.
