Job Title: Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Officer (Fresher Jobs)

About US:
The Uganda Episcopal Conference (UEC), the legal body of Catholic Bishops of Uganda with funding from CONRAD is implementing a project on Livelihood and Inclusive microfinance project to be implemented among 1800 vulnerable women and youth through Caritas Uganda department in the diocese of Kabale and Kasese.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the organization’s website, ensuring its functionality and security.
- Manage the organization’s social media platforms, including content creation and management, and regular posting of updates.
- Develop and maintain effective internal and external communications, including email, newsletters, and other media. Provide technical support for ICT systems and equipment, including hardware, software, and telecommunication systems.
- Ensure data protection and security of all ICT systems and equipment.
- Develop and implement ICT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Train staff on the use of ICT systems and equipment, including website and social media management.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in web design and development, social media management, and ICT support.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website design and development.
- Knowledge of data protection and security.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
